Taistelussa painopiste on taikuudessa, jonka avulla voi muun muassa muuttaa muotoaan. Kaikkiaan pelissä on 96 erilaista loitsua, joita voi lisäksi yhdistellä toisiinsa. Myös moninpeli onnistuu. Demossa voi pelata pelin ensimmäisen kappaleen alun ja kokeilla viittä eri moninpelimuotoa viidellä eri kartalla. (koko 503,7 MB). |

The main quest, side quests, townspeople, graphics, open-endedness, etc combine to make one of the best videogames available on any console. The game lets you do whatever you want, since a reload is only a few button clicks away. And that freedom is something very few games can actually deliver. As I mentioned above, the PS3 version does have the Knights of the Nine content built in. If you haven’t played the game, you definitely have to as soon as possible. |

10.04.2007Earth Defence Force 2017 (xb360) - Eurogamer - arvio 9/10 !There are many good reasons not to buy Earth Defence Force 2017. - You might not like shooters. Because if you don't like shooters, really, you're in the wrong place. Earth Defence Force is about shooting. It's just about shooting, in the same way Tetris is about rotating blocks and MMOs are about slowly getting alienated from your friends and family. Sure, as you progress it reveals itself to be a little smarter than it initially appears, but considering it initially appears to be as smart as soup, that's not really saying much. ... - You might believe violence solves nothing when - in fact - it solves over fifty levels of action, across multiple difficulty levels. - You may have friends and family who are ants. I understand. It's difficult. - You might not like smiling. - You might be stupid. Because there's always that, isn't there? If none of these apply, you've got no bloody excuse. |

Not only that, but it's also one of the overall best games around and shouldn't be overlooked by those wary of the often over-complicated nature of sims. SH4 is accessible, loads of fun and will provide countless hours of tense, watery warfare. |

05.04.2007Dawn of Magic (pc DVD) - Ace Games - previkkaWhat's particularly noteworthy about the spells and their use is that as you continue to rely on their powers, your character's appearance gradually changes to fit with whatever school of magic you've come to rely upon. Your appearance also changes with regards to how you've aligned yourself to Modo's cause, with armour and weapons all reflecting how good, or how evil, you've become. This is a small thing perhaps, but sometimes it's often these small touches that count the most. Another one of these it the developers' reluctance to play on the usual traditions as far as enemy creatures go. Although set sometime during the Middle Ages (or thereabouts), Dawn of Magic shuns any attempts to send the usual assortment of orcs, trolls and elves your way: instead the bad guys are a selection of some truly nasty looking beasts that range from giant winged serpents to creature who defy description. Given that it's these creatures you'll be spending the majority of the game killing, it's nice to see some variety in their appearance and their methods of attack. |

Peliplaneetta: Maineikkaan Warlords-pelisarjan maailmaan sijoittuva todella omalaatuisen pulmapelin, strategiapelin ja tarinallisen roolipelin risteytyksen demoversio. Yhdysvalloissa peliä on pelimedioissa kehuttu maasta taivaisiin. Vaikka demo onkin nyt julkaistu pc:lle, peli julkaistaan DS:lle ja PSP:lle. Pc-version mahdollisuudesta ei demosta huolimatta ole vielä puhuttu mitään. |

02.04.2007Trackmania United - eDome - arvioRadat – mitä helvattia? Valtavia looppeja, seiniä joita pitkin autot kiitävät, megaloikkia ja kohti taivasta kurottavia ramppeja? Tässä pelissä ei tarvitse piitata realismin rajoituksista, vaan ratojen suunnittelijat voivat tehdä mitä ikinä haluavatkaan. Sen näkee. Osa radoista on jotakuinkin uskottavia, monet täysin pähkähulluja. Ajaminen onkin suoranaista herkuttelua, etenkin hyvän äänentoiston avulla. Peliä on helppo suositella, kunhan vain osaa varautua ajoelämyksen kiihkeyteen ja arcadepainotteisuuteen. Realismille ei ole tässä pelissä sijaa, sitäkin enemmän silkalle hauskanpidolle ja hauskalle verkkopelaamiselle. |

It's all brought together in a way that's surprisingly complex. Don't be surprised if you find yourself completely unable to put this game down at the end of the day. |
