This is basically the same style of fighting that you've come to love from the previous games in the series, although there have been a few minor tweaks introduced. The biggest of these is the Soul Gauge system, which can give characters the ability to instantly kill their opponents. Essentially, you'll be able to build up your gauge by constantly attacking your foes (knocking off pieces of their armor in the process), then (with perfect timing) unleash a devastating Critical Finish move. |

DS-pelinä se on yksinkertaisesti vuoden parhaita, ja jos hieman korkea oppimiskäyrä ja outo - tai aluksi jopa epäselvä - peli-idea eivät pelota, ei sen parissa yksinkertaisesti voi pettyä. 23.05.2008Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (psp) - PSPExtreme - arvio: 9.8/10In the end, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII lives up to my personal expectations. It is precisely what I had imagined it to be, an addictive Action-RPG that ties up loose ends from the Final Fantasy VII past. It plays like a dream, blurring the lines between both genres that it covers much more than any other game. And it looks the part too, as it is easily the best looking handheld game you'll see to date, along with God of War. What's even better is that the adventure doesn't last just a few hours: you'll experience 15 hours of the story itself, and about another 12 hours doing the missions and side-quests. There's a lot of fun to be had here, so make sure you don't miss it. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is the PSP game you cannot live without. |

Jupiter and Square-Enix have done almost everything right in this game to create a solid, fun experience. While the game seems overly complex at times and requires a lot of personal investment from the player, if you stick with it, you'll find one of the best experiences on the DS system. From the terrific soundtrack and visual style to the great story and unique combat system, there's more than enough to make any DS owner proud to add TWEwY to his or her collection. |

You can outfit your character with upgraded armor and body protection, but that only buys you a couple of more hits before you're toast. Most of the time, this is for the best. It teaches you to use the game's excellent cover mechanic, using objects in the environment for protection, and peeking around them only when necessary to take a quick shot and return to cover. |
