Our hero, Syd, has come to destroy this tower and the very Locust-like monsters within. Early in the game he meets the lovely Filena, and while they don't get along at first they soon have to work together and use various team-up attacks in order to fend off the bad guys. |

Stalingradin motin purkautumisen jälkeen taistelemaan vapautuneet puna-armeijan joukot valtasivat Ukrainan alueella sijaitsevan Harkovan takaisin helmikuussa 1943. Pitkittynyt hyökkäysvaihe johti kuitenkin neuvostojoukkojen harvenemiseen, jolloin vastassa ollut von Mansteinin armeijaryhmä aloitti viivytystaisteluiden jälkeisen vastahyökkäyksen. Huolimatta myös saksalaisten alimiehityksestä, puna-armeijan panssarikärki saatiin murrettua Harkovan eteläpuolella, ja maaliskuussa 1943 SS-eliittijoukot valtasivat kaupungin. Lähes viisinkertaisella miesvahvuudella taisteluihin lähtenyt Neuvostoliitto kärsi 70 000 sotilaan tappiot, eivätkä saksalaisetkaan selvinneet verisistä asutuskeskustaisteluista helpolla, pahimmissa paikoissa olleen SS-panssariarmeijakunnan menetettyä lähes puolet taisteluvahvuudestaan. |

24.03.2010Just Cause 2 - IGN - arvio: 8.8/109.0 Graphics Rico's character model looks very good, but the absolute best-looking thing in Just Cause 2 is the island of Panau itself. 7.5 Sound The voice acting in Just Cause 2 is hit or miss, but the music is always entertaining. 8.5 Gameplay Despite a few problems with checkpoints and on-foot combat, Just Cause 2 is an absolutely thrilling third-person shooter with a massive open world and some amazing action set pieces. 9.0 Lasting Appeal I spent about 20 hours beating Just Cause 2. And that was roughly 30 percent of what the entire game has to offer. This game will keep you busy for a long time. |

It is burdened by an overly linear design for a large portion of the game, and a story that depends too much on potentially annoying characters. Even with those complaints, it is difficult to ignore Final Fantasy XIII's strengths. It's a visual treat, with some of the best-looking graphics to hit the system, and it has a top-notch soundtrack that deserves as much praise as can be heaped upon it. The game mechanics are incredibly solid and enjoyable, and it has one of the best combat systems in the franchise's history. |
