19.05.2010Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - Digital Chumps - arvio: 8.4/10Gameplay Traditional Prince of Persia gameplay with a great balance between acrobatic platforming and sword slashing combat. The story is pretty good, although predictable. After the campaign, two Challenge Modes are available Presentation Smooth graphics and fluid animations with some relatively minor technical snags. The soundtrack was enjoyable and the voiceovers and effects were good. Value The campaign is eight to nine hours long with not a lot of reason to go back. The additional Challenge Modes are really short on content and won't offer much replay value. Still, it's a good entry into the Sands series. Fun Factor I had a great time playing through the story. I really enjoyed the platforming puzzles and controlling the acrobatics that The Prince is known for. The combat is fun too. |

Prince of Persian sijaan parempi nimi olisi ehkä Prince of War’s Creed II: Arkham Asylum, sillä vaikutteita ei ole juuri piiloteltu. |

Kentälle mahtuu normaalisti 64 soturia, muokatuilla servereillä jopa kolme kertaa niin monta, mutta verkkoviive pysyy silti kurissa hienosti. Jos Mount & Bladen taistelujärjestelmä maistuu, viihtyy myös verkkorähinöiden parissa mainiosti. |
10.05.2010Black Mirror II (pcDVD) - GameBoomers - arvio: AI greatly enjoyed most of the puzzles in Black Mirror II. They are largely inventory based, with some intuitive and well integrated standalone puzzles. I would assess the difficulty level of most of the puzzles as moderately easy, with a couple of stumpers thrown in to fox you. There are two sliders, and one maze. Some scenes require a fast response or your character will die. Happily, there is an autosave function which saves your game just before such a sequence, relieving you of the necessity of lengthy replay. Black Mirror II, you are the bee’s knees for including so many of these helpful features. |

Trying to meet the expectations of an existing fanbase while expanding the franchise's audience has certainly provided a thoughtful development process for Double Helix. |

06.05.2010Splinter Cell Conviction - Darkstation - arvio: 9/10 !The Splinter Cell series has been in need of some updates, and I think the updates made to Splinter Cell Conviction were exactly what the doctor ordered. Although not a perfect package, Splinter Cell Conviction is a great game that offers a great single player experience as well as a solid cooperative game that all combines into another must have action game. + Gameplay 8.0 + Graphics 9.0 + Fun Factor 9.0 |

With an amazing soundtrack, an intense and clever story and a mix match of gameplay that goes boldly where no game has gone before, Nier will hopefully be the start of a new future for JRPGs. |
04.05.2010Just Cause 2 - Darkstation - arvio: 10/10 !Just Cause 2 sets a new standard in the sandbox genre, and will be difficult to top due to its incredible graphics, expansive world, and extremely fun gameplay. It encourages exploration and focuses on destruction and chaos above all else. The game works so well on all levels that it overcomes the smaller flaws, and makes them seem just like minor hiccups. If you are even remotely interested in sandbox titles then this game is for you, I could not recommend it more. + Gameplay 9.0 + Graphics 10.0 + Fun Factor 10.0 |
